If you fancy a lunchtime change, escape from the fast-food joints and duck into this sleek mall-based Italian eatery. The decor is minimal (there are no rustic Mediterranean flourishes to be found here), and the seating is pretty scarce, arranged around the central station where you can watch chefs preparing your meal from fresh ingredients. The food is about what you'd expect from mall Italian fare, however; filling and affordable, but nothing especially dazzling. The pasta can be slightly overcooked, but the sauce is rich and flavourful. Still, it's nothing you couldn't whip up at home without too much trouble. Desserts are a little disappointing, with a dry and crumbly cake garnished with cheap whipped cream. By all means stop by and sample the pizza and pasta, but if you fancy something sweet there are plenty of better places to stop if you want to round off your meal.
