From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2010If you want a more refined Middle Eastern dining experience, this is the place to come. A huge fountain greets you at the doorway, but make a beeline for the terrace and take a seat overlooking the marina. Boats and yachts of various sizes will make their way past, Fez-capped oud players will serenade you, and you’ll try to figure out exactly what the construction workers on the building opposite are up to. Kick of with the generous mezze platter, offering a selection of Arabic favourites, served up by the friendly staff. The mains are a little less successful. The mixed grill, while plentiful and offering a wide selection of kebabs and chops, is a little bland and dry. While the setting and service does offer a lot, the prices and quality of certain dishes can don’t necessarily add up. There is more affordable and better tasting Arabic fare to be found around the city.
