For an unpretentious midweek drink with pals, we’re not sure there’s anywhere more universally welcoming than Rosso. Yes, it’s an Italian restaurant. But on most nights the larger part of its space is generally taken up with groups of friends catching up over some hops or grape, chilling to the live band under the stars. And it’s not hard to see why. Rosso is smart and sleek, but lacks any typical Dubai showiness, instead creating the relaxed ambiance of a neighbourhood pub.
