Porsche Design

Remember the episode of Friends where Joey buys a Porsche-branded jacket in order to convince women he’s got the motor to match? Well, here’s where he’d have bought it if Central Perk were in Al Barsha. This being Dubai, however, it’s safe to assume that most of the shoppers here have a Boxter in the garage at the very least. The clothes are exactly what you’d expect from the Teutonic powerhouse: sleek, high-tech creations in the same vein as Prada Sport. The prices, of course, are anything but pared-down: expect to pay a staggering Dhs980 for a basic white shirt, Dhs5,000 for a leather bag, or Dhs2,000 for a pair of driving shoes. We might have to wait for a Skoda store to open instead.
